Greymouth Bed & Breakfast Accommodation

Greymouth is situated at the mouth of the Grey River, from which it takes its name (the explorer Thomas Brunner named the river to honour Sir George Grey, the Governor of New Zealand at the time).

Greymouth is the largest town on the West Coast, and the commercial centre of the region. As such it offers a range of retail, banking, medical, dental and other services.

The TranzAlpine train arrives from and departs to Christchurch daily, and there are air services to/from Greymouth airport. Daily transport services to and from other South Island and West Coast centres are provided by a number of coach and shuttle companies.
